How Can We Help?

What will you be asked for upon arrival?

We will need a copy of your ID/Driver's License, Insurance cards, COVID vaccine card, and a list of all of your medications.  If you have an Advanced Directive, please also bring that with you.

Will I need a driver?

Yes, under Kansas law, any person that has been under any sort of sedation cannot be released to drive themselves home.

If your driver decides to stay, they will want to bring something to occupy their time and probably a drink.

Will someone be contacting me prior to my procedure?

Yes, you will receive a call from one of our nurses prior to your procedure to go over instructions and to answer any questions you may have.

Who do I call for questions or to reschedule my procedure?

For all questions or concerns regarding your procedure, please call 316-402-0440.

Where do I go for my procedure ?

Cardio-Kidney Vascular is located on Webb Rd between Kansas Gastroenterology and the Volvo Dealership in the 96 Plaza.  The door is facing Webb Road on the southeast corner.

Can I eat before I come in for my procedure?

All procedures have different restrictions for eating; this will be discussed with you during your pre-procedure phone call.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably, and please wear a non-restrictive clothing that is easily taken on/off before and after your procedure.  

How long will my procedure take?

All procedure times vary depending on the type of procedure you are having. Plan to be at the facility for at least 1-4 hours respectively. Allow yourself plenty of time for admission, pre-op, the procedure, and recovery. 

How long will I be off of work?

This may vary depending on your procedure, please call for a more definitive answer.  It will also be discussed in your discharge instructions.

Is your facility accredited? 

Yes, this facility has proven its commitment to optimal patient safety and standardization of care by achieving accreditation from QUAD A.
